LNK Sports Park is the largest private sports complex in Latvia, and the first phase of the park, 65,000 m2, was opened today.

It includes two natural grass football pitches, one warm-up pitch with natural grass, 4 modern football pitches with artificial turf, two beach tennis and volleyball courts, changing rooms, parking, and landscaped grounds.

"A healthy mind in a healthy body - this old saying is always relevant, and the city is interested in having better and more accessible sports infrastructure here. Private investments are significant in this economic situation while promoting an active lifestyle and developing a sports network is one of the priorities of Riga's development strategy," said Mārtiņš Staķis, chairman of the Riga City Council, at the opening event of the park.

Already now, after the opening of the first round, football competitions of various levels will be able to take place in the park - starting with the Latvian football super league and national team matches. The developer of LNK Sports Park is the company LNK Properties.
